iPod เป็นหนึ่งในอุปกรณ์ที่แอปเปิ้ลรับประกันแบบทั่วโลกคือไม่ว่าจะซื้อจากที่ไหนก็สามารถนำเข้ารับบริการกับ Apple Service ที่ประเทศอื่นก็ได้ การรับประกันครอบคลุมถึงอุปกรณ์ที่มีมาให้ในกล่องด้วยเช่นกัน เช่น หูฟัง

ปกติแล้ว iPod มีการรับประกัน 1 ปี และสามารถซื้อประกันเพิ่มได้ (Apple Care for iPod) อีก 1 ปี
